Draw a signature online
Sign with your mouse, finger or stylus and get a transparent PNG or SVG in under a minute. Drawn signatures also get a real pen-replay animation, because the strokes are known. No account, nothing uploaded.
Start drawingHow it works
Open Draw, sign on the line, pick an ink colour and pen weight, then save to your kit. Undo and redo cover slips; Clear starts over. The Refine strip can smooth strokes, level the baseline and trim the margins without touching your ink.
Best results
Sign larger than you would on paper, and use a stylus or finger on a touch screen if you have one. A phone hand-off lets you sign on your phone while the desktop fills in live. Bold pens survive shrinking better.
What you get
Animating it
A drawn signature is the one that gets a true pen-replay animation, because its stroke order and speed are known, not guessed. Open Animate to export it as WebM or GIF, sized for a Reel, a Short, LinkedIn or a square post. See the animated signature guide for formats and sizes.
Putting it to use
The same drawing can go straight onto a PDF, close out a sign-off image, stamp a graphic or poster, or sit inside an email signature. Save it once and reuse it in each of these.
Starting over
Nothing is permanent until you save it. Clear the canvas and redraw as many times as you like, and use Undo or Redo while you are still signing. Redrawing later replaces that kit entry without touching your other variants.
Privacy
Your drawing is processed in the browser and is not uploaded. Anonymous usage analytics may be collected; see Privacy.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a stylus or touch screen to draw a signature?
No. A mouse works fine, though a stylus or a finger on a touch screen tends to produce more natural strokes.
Can I redraw my signature later?
Yes. Open Draw again at any time, sign a new version and save it to your kit; it replaces that entry without affecting your other kit variants.
What is the difference between the PNG and SVG downloads?
The PNG is a raster image at 2x or 3x resolution, good for documents and screens. The SVG is a true vector redraw of your strokes, so it scales to any size without blurring.
Does the pen-replay animation work for typed or scanned signatures too?
Only a drawn signature gets a true pen-replay, because it is the only one with recorded stroke order and speed. Typed and scanned signatures animate with a left-to-right reveal instead.
Is my drawing uploaded anywhere?
No. Drawing, refining and exporting all happen in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Can I get an inline or dark-background version too?
Yes. Your kit includes a full signature, initials, a compact inline version, an on-dark version and a display version, all built from the same drawing.
My download looks thin or too small. What should I change?
Sign larger than you would on paper and use a bolder pen weight before saving; thin, small strokes lose detail once they are shrunk.
